15.08.2007 A long night and the vandalised cow

Wednesday 15 August 2007 - Painting continues during the day, then Nilay and myself joined the Tepe staff on the Wednesday evening to work into Thursday morning preparing Moo Gaz. Here's some cow close-ups...

The early hours of Thursday morning presents a very different scene from the usual throng of shoppers during daylight hours.

Dalgic Inegi is almost finished, swimming around one floor below...

Later on, about 13.oohr early Thursday afternoon 16 August, a mother and child enter the painting station area containing the 3rd remaining pristine white cow and just start painting it - joined by other passing children, in 10-20 minutes they had almost covered the cow in a painted mess. The Tepe Nautilus staff removed the cow, cleaned it and Ned painted it white again. We have the security CCTV film of the incident, but here are some photos for now...
Above the "vandalised" cow and below after I had painted it again. It awaits for tomorrow when children are expected to arrive and cover the white cow in as many painted hand prints as it will take. The stage is set...
